I just got a 1994 ford 250 4x4 with a 7.3 turbo diesel motor the motor is trash . I have a 91 7.3 diesel motor in great shape . how much trouble is it to swap motors as far as wiring and parts

You won't need most of the wires you have under the hood.... 12v for the pump, 12v for the glow plug system, wire the gauges and that early 7.3 will run. There are a couple other things that should be researched like a cold start advance on the pump, and your charging system. But it will run without all that electronic junk.
