I have just started to notice when pushing the throttle from idle the engine will cough and sometimes stall. I changed the Throttle Positioning Sensor but did nothing to control the problem. Does anyone happen to know what I should check next? My local dealership can't get me in for a while and the truck needs to be used. Thanks in advance.

do you have a 7.3
it is electronic fuel system. 7.3 powerstrokes will not stay running if there is a bad oil pump. or an oil pressure sensor I have done both also your IDM is in your left fender it controls your injectors it will not throw a fault code either. Make sure your fuel pump under the drive door is working. these are some ideas I can off the top of my head I can think of.
