100,000 miles on in frame overhaul. When jake brake is activated a knock up top fades (not instant) in. I've ran overhead,pulled VVA housings and replaced studs. Everything looks fine. Inspected every part of the valve train and see nothing visibly wrong. I've been an O/Operator for 27 years and have always done my own repairs but this one has me stumped. No noise pulling, coasting or idling only when engine brake is activated.
