I have a Deutz BF4M1011F in a 863 Bobcat Skid Steer. The oil pan developed a hole from rubbing against the fuel tank bracket. Finally got the motor out and the pan off, Well the motor must have been run longer then I was told and the #4 crankshaft bearing was wiped out. Before I get raked over the coals by the local so called "DIESEL EXPERT" is there anybody out there that can tell me what the best way to repair this? I have pictures of the shavings that were in the pan and it looks like there is still a fair amount of what's left of the bearings where they belong. Everything else looks good from the bottom end. I have not pulled the head off yet.
