I have a BX2200 and I have rebuilt most of the engine and would really like to see it start (smile). I think I may have a problem with the injectors, but would like some input. When I remove the lines from the fuel injection pump to the injectors, fill the injectors with fuel, and turn the engine over it throws the fuel a few feet into the air thus emptying the injectors. Is that what it should do or should the injectors effectively be a check-valve and not allow air from the cylinder to come back through the injector? Basically I'm trying to figure out if I need to replace the injectors. I just put a new fuel infection pump on the engine... Thoughts?

That is a real simple fuel systen and so are the injectors. The injectors should not fire fuel back from where the line connects. Did you take extreme care as NOT to damage the little points coming out of the injector nozzles?

'We're thrilled with! We sold an old CAT D343 within 1 month of listing and a Cummins engine within 3 months. We were amazed - we didn't think anyone would want them in the condition they were in!'

Stephanie Vaughan, Heavy Equipment Parts, Independence, USA

'I had a Cummins ISX600 sitting in my shop for 2 years and finally managed to sell it through! Great service and I like the way that the Buyer was able to phone me directly.'

David G Bouchard, Los Angeles, USA

'I had hundreds of "hits" on your website which generated 5 or 6 inquiries from all over the world; Germany, The Philippines, Korea, Sweden, and Spain. I sold all 3 of my engines to a buyer from South Korea. Your website was invaluable to me in selling these engines; no other ads that I ran produced any inquiries.'
