Hey All, New to the forum and new to the turbo diesel community. I have a GMC Sierra 3500 with the 6.5l Turbocharged and a 5 sp manual, 2WD. Anyway, I am only producing about 1-2 pounds of boost onna good day (according to my aftermarket guage). I have it hooked up to the intake in a port that had a sensor (maybe not the best place, but only place that had a port with no drilling, etc). Anyway, I am thinking of going with a manual boost controller. I have replaced the MAP sensor, and the wastegate actuater control sensor down on the side of the manufold on the drivers side. Anyway, I am wondering if there is anything else I can do to check this system before I go the the expense of adding a boost controller, and posibly a new or larger tubo. I pull a 40 ft 5th wheel camper with this truck, and right now it is a gutless wonder. I need to get better fuel milage and more power outta this thing till I can afford to get a newer truck with either the Duramax or the Powerstroke. Any help at all is greatly appriciated.

'We bought a new John Deere engine via DieselEngineTrader.com for a great price and were able to sell it locally for $1000 less than our competition. We really appreciate the website - it's great!'

'I had hundreds of "hits" on your website which generated 5 or 6 inquiries from all over the world; Germany, The Philippines, Korea, Sweden, and Spain. I sold all 3 of my engines to a buyer from South Korea. Your website was invaluable to me in selling these engines; no other ads that I ran produced any inquiries.'

'Just sold a Deutz engine via DieselEngineTrader.com. Great!'
