Another question, I put what was supposed to be a 430hp DDEC II ECM on the truck and the performance was worse than the original one and when I switched them out my Tacho and Speedo quit working. Are both of supposed to work off the ECM. Again, any help would be Greatly Appreciated.

Your performance most likely got worse because that ecm is set to work with a higher flowing injector/different cam. The tach and speedo do go through the ecm and they're probably just on a different pin than your last ecm. ------------------------- 2000 Western Star 4964 14L 550 S60 2003 Western Star 4900EX 12.7 500 S60

Customer Testimonials

'We bought a new John Deere engine via DieselEngineTrader.com for a great price and were able to sell it locally for $1000 less than our competition. We really appreciate the website - it's great!'

Ben Kauffman, Quaker Machine, PA, USA

'We're thrilled with DieselEngineTrader.com! We sold an old CAT D343 within 1 month of listing and a Cummins engine within 3 months. We were amazed - we didn't think anyone would want them in the condition they were in!'

Stephanie Vaughan, Heavy Equipment Parts, Independence, USA

'We've sold 7 engines in 4 months through DieselEngineTrader.com - one to Utah, three to South Dakota, one to New York, one to Kansas and one locally in Wisconsin! I also advertise in other publications but DieselEngineTrader.com gets the best results and at a great price too! I like the way that my engines are shown at the top of Google searches and DieselEngineTrader.com will definitely be playing a major part in my advertising from now on.'
