Description
Perkins Diesel Engine Model: 1080D, S/N: 37166680 C, casting #
57112810/1 (4 cyl.) Dismantle and clean engine block, crankshaft, cylinder head
and all small parts in hot tank. Magnaflux crankshaft for cracks, checks-good.
Grind rods @ .010 and mains @ .010 (Note: #3 main had small area that didn’t
clean @ .010, left as is.) Sonoflux cylinder head for cracks, checks-ok. Set up and
resurface cylinder head on worn gasket surface. Complete 3 angle valve job, grind
seats and valves, hand lap, wash and assemble. 4-Clean and check connecting
rods, checks-ok. Set up block and sonoflux for cracks, checks-good. Mic mains
