Description
John Deere 4239T, 4239TF001 Fair Running Complete Diesel Engine Engine S/N: TO4239T217548 Block C/N: R81941 Head C/N: R57028 Tech Details: Test Run 01/25/2024 Needed help on initial start up. Started with a lot of blue smoke and a miss. Adjusted injection pump timing and replaced #1 injector and there was some improvement, but still smokes. Saw improvement once it warmed up, but puffs heavy blue smoke with throttle is released quickly. Some blowby. Good draw at intake. Cylinder liner seals may be weeping slightly but couldn't confirm.
