i have a hummers6.2l chev in my 77f100 4x4. the diagphram in in bracks vacume pump is shot, can these be repaired or is it cheaper to try and find one somewhere? i have heard that you can bolt on a diseal alternator in its place and do a bit of replumbing and the problem is solved for good, i like that idea so if so can any body help me by telling me off wat engine the alternatr is that fits and works . thanks. i need brakes bad. im from brisbane in qld., australia

To expensive to repair , if you can find a diaphragm ! Use an alternator off a diesel landcruiser
