I have a 94 2500 Chevy truck.. I have codes 34, and 88. I have reset the pump timing, installed new timing chain, and still have the codes.. Now what I was wondering is, since the codes are still there, I did the troubleshooting that GM says to do to check the "Stepper pump" and it doesnt seem to be working right. Can you replace just the stepper, or do you have to replace the pump? Another problem is: when I replaced the chain, It was WASTED... and when I installed the new one, It still had some slop in it. Any suggestions?
