I have a 14l and just swap out the turbo and put a 171702 and fulltilt manifold now the truck has no power on low rpm but once it reach 1600 rpm it kicks in hard, the mechanic who did the job is saying i need to replaced the cac and we are going to pressure test it tomorrow. Can it be a bad tune to not have power on the lower rpm? Im saying this because it was working fine before the turbo swap and if it was bad before i should have noticed it but it had plenty of power, kind of lost at this right now.
