Hello All. I have a 2013 Detroit DD15 that will not start on it's own. If i shoot it with starting fluid it will start and run without any problem but if I shut it off it will not start back unless using starting fluid again. It has been in 3 different shops and still no-one can figure out what is going on. I have replaced the rings on the filter assembly, the check valve on the back of the fuel rail and the check valve on the side housing of the doser assembly and still have the same issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a rocker arm break in half one time just as I shut the engine off. It fell on top of the injector and shorted out the terminals....every time the ecm saw the dead short it disabled the engines attemp to start.... I would say you got a dead short somewhere in your injectors or harness.
