Greeting All

I would like to say how much the book The Lister CS Story by David Edgington has helped me. There has been much discussion about when the first Lister CS diesel was built and sold, now we really know that it was 1929 the number CS100. The book also tells how the CS 5-1 slow speed evolved from the old L type petrol engine which is why so many early CS engines failed. It was interesting to know how to tell the date of manufacture. Here in Iran the CS is still made as the SANE using a combination of local made and indian parts. The original Lister CS is a wonderful engine."

'We love your site! Got a customer in Germany through our ads in DieselEngineTrader.com and made a $130k sale to him for a CAT C32 engine!'

Grant Tremelling, Northern Equipment & Machine, Idaho, USA

'DieselEngineTrader.com is a very good resource. I use it to search for engines I need and have also advertised a Volvo Penta engine and received some genuine inquiries. Our local market is small and DieselEngineTrader.com helps me to reach a worldwide market.'

Dimitris Constantinou, Limassol, Cyprus

'I had hundreds of "hits" on your website which generated 5 or 6 inquiries from all over the world; Germany, The Philippines, Korea, Sweden, and Spain. I sold all 3 of my engines to a buyer from South Korea. Your website was invaluable to me in selling these engines; no other ads that I ran produced any inquiries.'

Gary Sommerfeld, Manager, Marine Operations, Phillips Cruises & Tours, Anchorage, Alaska
