I have several questions on the N-14 engine.
1) What is the normal idle speed?
2) What is the maximum operating RPM ?
3) What is the average fuel injection pressure?
4) what is the maximum in cylinder pressure just prior to combustion?

What are you running? N-14 mechanical,Celect,or Celect+? Idle range is generally in the 700 to 800 range.Sometimes down to 600.Depends.Max RPM is about 2150.Some applications go as high as 2400. If you can,get the vin# off the data plate and call a Cummins dealer and they should be able to answer all your questions.It will make a difference what pistons you have as to cyl.pressure.With the vin and CPL code they should be able to help.
