I'm fairly new to deisels. I have an 83 GMC 6.2 liter. First, The solenoid for the glow plugs stays on almost constantly. Is there another relay besides the solenoid that could be bad, or is it just the solenoid itself that needs replacing. Second, I'm having a hard time keeping the belts tight. They either work their way loose, or they just stretch out. I've had the truck for 7 months and have replaced the belts twice. Is this common on the 6.2 liter engine?
