I've got a Scag 48" walk behind mower with kohler vertical shaft 12hp gas engine. When this engine goes (any time now) I'd like to put in a comparable diesel. If any of you could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.

I have two 8hp directory base mdl kv181 certain applications. these are finish applications with newbies, carburators, flywheels and all metatl shrouding parts. These engines were eliminated from 1969 wheelhorse vehicles, and are just as highly effective than the 12 hp briggs powerplant that I used on one of them. They were eliminated from the tractors over 20 years ago & have been just seated around in my underground room kept in storage space and are in top situation.
