Hello members, I just had a general question about starting my car. I hear the starter motor doing its thing, but the engine won't start. Just recently I changed the battery, and glow plugs. And I put some fuel injector cleaner in there. It said it treated 30 gallons, and I put half the bottle in there with only maybe 6 gallons of fuel in the tank. Is it possible that too much fuel injector cleaner will not allow my car to start? I have not done anything to it yet. My mechanic wants to charge me $85/hr. + $60 to tow the thing to his shop. Any ideas? I always thought these MB 300s from the 80's were built like tanks with fine German Engineering, the same ones that made the Panzers. Either today or tomorrow I will put more fuel in as an attempt to even out the fuel injector cleaner vs Diesel Fuel. I'll let you guys know what happens.

'Listed a Perkins T6.354 on DieselEngineTrader and sold it after 5 month. With a listing fee of $5.00 per month and no commission, it was much cheaper and more effective than the magazine we also used.'

'Was looking for a Gardner 4LK to rebuild. None of my usual contacts could help me so I searched the Internet and found one on DieselEngineTrader. It was only 27 miles down the road!'
