Have a 2004 daf cf 75 was running well at 100km/hour then would drop back to 80 for no reason then back up to 100km. Now the truck will just die at any time and wont start until it is blead, then stops again at any time usually between 10 - 15 km distance. Fuel filters are fine and fuel system was checked by daf dealer which is said to be fine, they plugged computer in and said it needed new cam sensor made no difference $1500 later. I decided to drain fuel tank and had look inside to find a circular intake and return line holder floating around. Then I noticed a constant flow of air bubbles coming from the return line and seemed to be getting sucked into the intake line. What is causing air to come out of the return line? hopefully this is the problem hope someone can give me some ideas?
