Did the engine run with the gas in it? These engines are more tolerant with gasoline than others. Drain the tanks, refill with clean diesel, remove the water separator if equipped, drain it, replace the fuel filter. Fill the new filter with Stanadyne fuel treatment, pour the rest into the fuel tank. start the engine and let it warm up. Drive it around and clean it out. It may need pump and injector work if it smokes and won't clear out. I'd run it for awhile if it was mine and see what happens. Putting fuel conditioner in the tanks won't hurt. Kevin

'We sold a Turbo in 2 weeks to a guy in Houston! We also sold the first engine we listed - an old Hatz. It took 2 months to sell but that was OK as we couldn't move it locally. We track visitors to our website and we get lots from DieselEngineTrader.com. Your website really works, it's a great service and we'll be using DieselEngineTrader.com for years to come!'

'It took at least 4 weeks before we got our first enquiries for the 28 engines we listed - 3 months on we are making 3 to 4 sales per month! We're really pleased and I like the the feature that shows how many views our engines get.'
