hi i am trying to work on a 3lb1 generator engine, would like to find some info on how to adjust the valves, and what specs. maybe where I can get a book on it.

I have a isuzu 3ld1 that the dip stick keeps blowing out.any idea on this issue?

Valve clearance for 3LA1, 3LB1, 3LD1 & 3LD1 is 0.2mm cold, Inlet & Exhaust.

This is due to excessive crankcase pressure or a llose dipstick. Remove the rocker cover, dismantle the breather valve in the cover and flush out the valve to ensure it and the breather pipe is clear. Also make sure the in-line valve in the breather pipe from cover to crankcase is clear. You should be able to blow through one way but not the other.
The dipstick should be a tightish fit into the crankcase or dipstick tube.
