Greeting All

I would like to say how much the book The Lister CS Story by David Edgington has helped me. There has been much discussion about when the first Lister CS diesel was built and sold, now we really know that is was 1929 the number CS100. The book also tells how the CS 5-1 slow speed evolved from the old L type petrol engine which is why so many early CS engines failed. It was interesting to know how to tell the date of manufacture. Here in Iran the CS is still made as the SANE using a combination of local made and indian parts. The original Lister CS is a wonderful engine."

'We had a Mercedes engine in stock for over a year but were unable to sell it in Belgium - it was an unusual specification for generator use. Once we listed it on DieselEngineTrader.com, we sold it to a customer in England! We get regular inquiries from customers across the world.'
