Dear people,

I am looking for information and answers that can help me regarding an issue that happened to me after mayor overhaul on a Mitsubishi engine 18KU30A
after completion this overhaul engine performed load test and approaching 50% load the engine failed and shut down due to severe part damages.
During removal of the cylinder cover it appeares that this particular cylinder was not equipped with the required cylinder head gasket.
Now the manufacturer claims it was due to this missing gasket but how can such an gasket cause such great damage. Is anyone familiar with this kind of
failure or can explain the statement manufacturer claims because I can not accept such an instant statement while the drawing they refer to in their report
does not backup their statement.
Any kind of information or specific drawing details are very welcome, on forehand thx very much for your interest and - or effort.
