I have a 11.1 ddec 3 what is the return fuel restrictive fitting supposed to be drilled out to? my fuel is turning black & shop guy told me the fuel is getting too hot by remaining in the head too long turning it black. I have original factory spec fitting.

drilling the restrictor didn't really work for me. black fuel usually is oil leaking at the fuel pump is what I have found

You need a new shop guy. Black fuel is oil could be injector o rings also.

Black fuel could be cause by asphaltene or algae. I'd try an additive made to get rid of those before drilling any fittings or doing anything real expensive
